1.1 Homeschool Plus Open House – Norfolk – March 16

Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: $6/adult; $4/student (ages 5 through 18); $2/preschooler (ages four and under). Price includes fiesta lunch, beverage, and dessert. All other parts of the day are free.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon that begins with lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Continue with the open house performances and an auction from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Finish with the opportunity to see classroom displays until 4 p.m. Find out all about Homeschool Plus.

Friday, April 11, 2014, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Cost: $12/person (ages 12 and over). Light refreshments are included. Ladies, please remember–no clothing that is low-cut, strapless, backless, or tight. Gentlemen, please wear dress pants, shirt, and tie.

You’re invited to the 8th Annual Homeschool Spring Ball where you can enjoy fellowship and fun at a colonial-style ball.

1.3 CVHAA Disciples Football May Training Camp – Henrico – May 12-16

Henrico, VA

Monday, May 12 through Friday, May 16, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cost: $50/player; $40/first sibling; $30/second sibling, and so on. Open to boys ages 6 to 18. Price includes a camp T-shirt; please provide size when you register. Wear sneakers or cleats, shorts, and a T-shirt.

The Disciples Football program has an 11-man team and was Virginia’s first high school football team for homeschoolers. It is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Christian Conference (MACC). In 2014, the Disciples enter their 10th season as 2013 MACC Champions and 2013 National Homeschool Football Association (NHFA) Runner-Up! The team is comprised of athletes who homeschool and those who attend schools that do not have a football program.
