Sponsors believe that Christian families want more nurturing, helpful picture books for children (25 to 50 pages)–besides Curious George, Dr. Seuss, and the like. The contest supports solid, biblically-based, family-oriented picture books aimed at children ages two through eight.
See the website for details from Generations with Vision and its Christian Children’s Picture Book Contest for 2014. The book submission must include full text and a mock-up of at least 75% of pictures. The winner will receive a $2000 prize and book publication. The author will also get royalties of 10% of sales.
