Join fellow homeschoolers for a fun day of activities including nature hikes, science experiments, animals, and more. Bring a picnic lunch and discover how Riverbend Park can enrich your homeschool curriculum. They offer hands-on experiential programs that will expand your science, nature, and physical education classes.

Homeschool LEGO® Club

Wednesdays from December 4-18 and December 23 (due to the Christmas holiday) from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Cost: $60/student/month. Class size is limited to 12 builders. If there is a wait list, sponsors will create an additional club on a different day of the week.

Homeschool outings will never be the same again! In this club, homeschoolers will imagine, create, and discuss a variety of topics. From building bridges using the concepts of architecture and engineering to creating with WeDo® Robotics, they’ll never look at LEGO® the same!

Simple Machines LEGO® Brickshop

Monday, December 9, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Cost: $25/student (ages six and up).The price includes all needed materials. Register soon. Space is limited to 12 builders, but sponsors will offer a second brick shop for those on the wait list.

Use LEGO® in a brand new way! Through the investigation of Simple Machines, your child will explore the basics of physics and the concepts behind real machines.
