Q. If a high school student takes a summer course, where do I include that credit–in the year just finished or the year ahead?
A. It is really up to you where to place a summer course; you may place it either in the previous school year or the upcoming school year. Homeschoolers are not required to take particular courses in any special order or include them in any particular years. Because you can choose when you offer courses, you’re free to include the summer course where it works best for your student.
