Come to the CHANGE (Christian Homeschoolers Aiming to Nurture Godly Excellence) homeschool co-op moms’ meeting on May 5 to help plan the coming year and/or sign up. The co-op meets on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. beginning September 6, 2013. It will meet 12 times in the fall and 12 in the spring semester.
Significant changes this coming school year include moms’ meetings held during lunch on the third Friday of the month (instead of on Sunday nights). Courses will be finished before lunch each Friday, allowing time for fieldtrips and other events. Courses offered will include chemistry, biology, writing, and math for high school; and writing, math and Jeannie Fulbright chemistry for middle school. Grades 3-4 and 5-6 also have optional Latin and history. Pre-school through grade 2 have history and art. The co-op is open to all ages from nursery through high school. Membership is $100/semester with a full year commitment. In addition, all moms teach a class and assist in an additional class.
