Amy said on February 19, 2013
What I would do with a new level of Math-U-See. It is amazing how quickly my kids have gotten on the MuS program. My oldest daughter alone has gone through 5 levels in 2 years (we played catch up after switching in 5th grade). It has been quite an investment in a short period of time, and a new level would make moving forward a little smoother!
Tiana said on February 19, 2013

I would love to continue on learning with my little guy in Alpha. We started Primer on Saturday the 16th and already he has made it to lesson 7. I think we will be slowing down once we hit lesson 9 but I have been completely blown away at his enthusiasm and his success so far.
Cheryl Baranski said on February 19, 2013

Laurie in TX said on February 19, 2013
We would definitely use a new level of MUS. Both my kids love MUS and this anti-math mom (just being honest)has learned quite a bit myself with the program.
Tiffany said on February 19, 2013
I would love to try Math-U-See. We’ve tried 3 different math curriculum for our 9 year old (two just this year) and all three have fell short of satisfying. We need something that will keep her interest. Something that isn’t too easy or too difficult. I’m not sure which level she’d be on as we are not familiar with this curriculum…yet.
Sherry said on February 19, 2013
I would use it for my oldest for next year.
Kelly Lucia said on February 19, 2013
It looks like a great way to get my kindergartner to make the leap to figuring place value.
Natalie said on February 19, 2013
We are new to homeschooling and I have heard GREAT things about MUS! I can’t wait to get it for my kindergartner and 4th grader! My 4th grader struggles so we are eager to try something that will help her.
Janna WIersma said on February 19, 2013
We have four children to homeschool. Our littlest has been waiting so patiently to get to use his first “real” math book! We will begin Primer with him next fall. My oldest three have excelled with Math-U-See. We love the videos, and look forward to continuing to use the program. (I’ve heard great things about the financial course from friends with older kids!)
brooke cenal said on February 19, 2013

pammy lowman said on February 19, 2013

I said it would be fab b/c could actually teach my daughter a proper math curriculum as of right now i’m just pulling sheets and free random stuff b/c we cant afford an official math curriculum. Just trying to make sure daughter knows the basics.
Mary Smith said on February 19, 2013

I just started homeschooling my 6th grader this year and Math-U-See has been SUCH a blessing! Even though she went to a ‘great’ school and always did well in math, she really struggled with actual computation. I started using this program this year with Alpha, she is now almost done with Gamma and I hope to get her through Delta as well. Winning this would set us up to continue moving along and get her to a more appropriate level for her age!

We would move up from Algebra 1. I think we are going to try Stewardship or Geometry next. We started 9 years ago, have never done another math program.

I would love to use math u see to help my boys improve their math. They are at grade 2 & 3 for every other subject, but my older has regressed and lost some confidence in math. The younger has been taught in quite a confusing way how to subtract, and can’t seem to understand why he gets so many wrong on any worksheet. I regret having to take time off to work recently, as they did not get the love and attention they needed for their academics, particularly math. I think math u see would help them to visualize and internalize the facts, and regain the confidence they need to succeed in school and in life. THANKS!

I have never used this program but have heard great things! I have a special needs son and he hasn’t been successful with anything in the past. I am at my wits end. He really needs a manipulative based program so he can actually see the math. He just can’t do it mentally. this would be a blessing.

I would use a new level of Math U see to help my daughter who really seems to struggle in math. She needs more hands on. Learning.

Two levels of MUS would help us so much, my daughter just finished Delta and my son is finishing up Beta, and my budget (single mom) is just so beyond tight right now with my van having broken down recently. We love MUS, I blog, FB and twitter about it all the time.

I used MUS with my older kids many years ago. Due to recent circumstances I’ve had to put the youngest two in school, but my youngest daughter now has several “gaps” that I would love to be able to go back to basics with her and give my two youngest the same foundation my older ones got.
Jamie said on February 19, 2013
Delta is being shipped to me in the next few days from you guys for my oldest, & so I definitely could use Epsilon, because all three of my kids are cruising through each of the levels! Youngest is learning so well in Primer. And Middle one is flying through Beta!
Lori Butterfield said on February 19, 2013
I have 4 kiddos, and I need 4 different levels of MUS. Winning one level would allow us to reach the financial requirements for all four of them to get started ASAP! We are excited to begin our MUS journey!!

I would love to have it to move my daughter up to the next level in math!
This year I’ve been able to move my one daughter up an entire level thanks to Math-U-See and allow my other daughter to become proficient and am ready to move her up as well. My junior was struggling in Algebra 2 in his streaming school, so I decided to purchase that from Math-U-See as well and it has made a wonderful difference! Thank you!!

MUS has given me my sanity back. Only problem I have now is my kinesthetic learner likes to build with his blocks, oh and have battles, because they are soldiers you know.

#3. We’ve used 2 other math curriculum sets for 16 years. I’m tired of it and my two graduates do not love math. I’m thinking that it is time for us all to try something new and you have such a good reputation.
Siobhan Brown said on February 19, 2013

I always recommend MUS to homeschooling moms looking for math that will work for their kids. We have been using MUS for 4 years now (3 kids) and are well pleased with the curriculum and the company. MUS comes highly recommended by myself AND my children.
Tonya Nuttall said on February 19, 2013
I would use Math u see to help my struggling learners FINALLY understand math. I took my 10 yr. old out of public school this year, along with his little brothers, and he can’t do even simple math, My friend gave me a few of her old Math-u-see books, primer, alpha and beta, and after going through primer with my 10 yr old he is finally understanding math better and is moving right along in alpha. I am very impressed with math-u-see so far, so I want to continue!
susan march said on February 19, 2013
Thanks for all the giveaways! I bought MUS when my oldest was just starting out with Primer. All she wanted to do was build houses with rhe blocks do we changed to something else. Now, a few years later, we have returned to MUS – where she likes watching “the funny guy in the video”!

I am just going to be starting Math-u-See with my 5 and 6 year olds. I have been using Miquon, but have realized I need an assistant to help me out in breaking it down in a way my littles can understand. I love math and teaching math, but some insight from an experienced educator will be greatly accepted. I would LOVE to have the opportunity to receive one of the updated levels. (beta) Thank you for this chance.
