Location: One Waterside Drive, Norfolk
Date: Thursday, February 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: $10/adult; $8/child, age 4 through 17. Children age 3 and under are free.
Registration: There is no preregistration for this event. You may purchase tickets onsite at the admissions desk when you arrive.
Description: Join the Nauticus & Battleship Wisconsin for Homeschool Day! Visit the newest exhibit, “Our Mighty Seaport”; enjoy the aquariums, weather exhibits, touch tanks, and Navy exhibits–and watch a movie in the large screen theater! Educational programming–included in your discount admission ticket–is also offered throughout the day. Don’t forget to tour the USS Wisconsin–the largest and last battleship built by the US Navy–while you are there!
If you’d like to bring a bag lunch, you can eat it inside the café seating area on the first floor of Nauticus. The cafe will offer a discounted lunch option (hot dog, chips and a drink for $5.29 plus tax). There are also many restaurants located nearby.
Lockers (for a fee) are available inside to store any items.
Parking cost is approximately $1/hour at the city garage located across the street from Nauticus.

From the North or Northwest (Williamsburg/Richmond): Take I-64 East Exit 264 West towards Downtown Norfolk. Take the Waterside Drive exit (left exit #9). Nauticus is located four lights down on the left after Town Point Park.
