UN Convention on the Rights of the Child Affects a Family’s Right to Homeschool in Botswana

As a result of Botswana’s accession to the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child, a judge ordered a homeschooling family to stop homeschooling their children and send them to public school instead, despite the fact that the children were properly cared for and well educated.
