Homeschooling Through High School

You’ve got this homeschool thing down pat. Schedules, free time, hands-on, unschooling, socialization—all covered. Worries about socialization and “keeping up” with public school are a thing of the past. Life is good. Then, suddenly—like the squealing brakes on the car of a brand-new driver—panic reigns once again. Your teen has hit high school.

There is no need to stress. The world of high school is a just a continuation of your homeschool journey, and it is not uncharted territory. Many have walked this path, and you will find much help and support as you navigate the world of credits, transcripts, diplomas, driver’s ed, career and college planning, and all that high school entails. As a whole, homeschooling is entering its third generation, and homeschool graduates have gone on to college, the workplace, the university, and the military.
